Soils & Soil Blends
The correct soil for the required application is necessary to achieve the
best results. The list below is a sample of the types of blends we can mix.
Should you have a special requirement please consult us for the best product
for your desired usage.
None of our soil blends contains Hardwood Sawdust which causes Nitrogen Draw
down and all are in the pH range of 6-7. All provide good Air Fill Porosity
for optimum growth of your valuable plant stock.
Topsoil
Medium screened material useful for soil packing for slopes and wash away situations. This product is very versatile in garden blends and topdressing as well as under turf.
Premium Garden Mix
This rich mix is made of 50% soil conditioner (compost), 10% coarse sand, 10% rock dust (mineral and trace elements), 20% soil and 10% composted chicken manure. It is useful for any garden project (except Proteacea family natives when they are small) and is balanced at pH 6 -7. Try this and watch your plants jump out of the ground and reward you with lush growth.
Organic Top dress
This blend contains soil conditioner, rock dust, coarse sand, soil, chicken manure and trace elements. It is easy to use and you can hire a levellawn very cheaply ($10/day) for perfect application. Because it is rich in organic matter it’s fertilising properties should last longer than chemical lawn fertilisers.
Organic Native Mix
A mix of and 50% Rich Earth Comost, 25% Screened Topsoil and 25% Washed River Sand to ensure that the Native plants which are sensitive to Phosphorous or over fertilising will not suffer while the free draining aspect of this mix allows speedy root development.
