Palms & Ferns
Our palms are a range of hardy low to tall varieties. These include Cocos,
Alexandra, Bangalow, Majestic, Kentia, Golden Cane and Dwarf Date. The sizes
range from 200mm pots to 300mm pots. Larger sizes can be supplied on request.
Bamboo Palms are also available but are better used indoors.
We have an extensive range of ferns from Maidenhair through spreading ground
varieties, Bird's Nests to Tree ferns as well as Staghorns and Elkhorns.
The sizes are generally from 125mm pots to 300mm pots.
Water Plants
Our Water Lilies are of both the Temperate (hardy) varieties and the Tropical varieties. The colours range from blues and mauves through pinks, salmons, whites and yellows. There are miniatures and large leaved varieties as well as magenta leaved night flowerers.
Other Lilies such as the Fringe Lily and the Stream Lily add different leaf shapes and flowers to your pond. Other deep water plants such as Rainbow Nardoo, a native fern which looks like four leaf clover floating and Water Hawthorn, a Winter flowering plant, are always available.
For the shelves of ponds or very damp spots in the garden there are a wealth of plants from Louisiana Irises, Papyrus, Water Canna, to mention a few taller ones, to River Buttercup, Pickerel Rush and many others with flowers from pink to white and yellow can be purchased for interest in your pond all year round.
